Maserati Ghibli Hybrid | Mission, TX
For the first time in its storied history, Maserati is introducing an electrified vehicle: the new Ghibli Hybrid. We are so excited to welcome this eco-friendly addition to our dealership here in Mission, Texas. But don’t for a minute think that this first step toward electrification is it. While the Ghibli Hybrid is the first foray into eco-friendly driving for Maserati, two all-electric cars, the GranTurismo and GranCabrio, will follow next year.
Hybrid power
The new Ghibli Hybrid will take its power from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine, partnered with a 48-volt alternator and electric supercharger, which is supported by a battery. This combination will generate a whopping 330 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque and allow for a 0-to-100-kilometer sprint in just 5.7 seconds.
We do not have any fuel economy estimates quite yet, but as this marks the automaker’s first hybrid model, we expect them to be impressive.
Connectivity
Not only will the new Ghibli showcase the brand’s first hybrid system, it will also herald in the all-new Maserati Connect program. This system allows you to stay constantly connected to your vehicle via your phone and includes car performance checks and monitoring of Safety Security Services should there be an emergency.
The Maserati Ghibli Hybrid will also boast the latest-generation Maserati Intelligent Assistant multimedia system.
Design
Just as being an eco-friendly hybrid doesn’t mean that the Ghibli gives up its famous Maserati performance, it also doesn’t mean it loses any of its eye-catching design. Every Maserati Ghibli Hybrid will boast a blue color to establish its own brand. On the exterior, you’ll find the famous Maserati Trident logo and blue accents for the side air ducts, thunderbolt in the oval, and brake calipers. The blue continues inside the car, specifically on the embroidered seams of the seats.
We at Bert Ogden Maserati in Mission, Texas, will deliver more updates on our site and social media as we learn more about the Ghibli Hybrid.
